TFDPC chosen for the Indian Innovation awards

Agartala, Feb 15: A jury headed by renowned scientist Dr M G K Menon of EMPI-Indian Express, has chosen Tripura Forest Development and Plantation Corporation Limited (TFDPC) among top 14, of the total 550 entities for the Indian Innovation Awards 2006.

According to official sources here today, the TFDPC has been chosen for the award for its strategy, policy, profit enhancement, and involvement of community stake holders.

All the top 14 organisations throughout the country will be invited to attend the award presentation ceremony likely to be held in April at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi.

The award will be given by President APJ Kalam at a function.

This is a great recognition for the state in evolving new corporate culture through empowering people who are working for the company, sources said.

The information in regard of award was intimated to the TFDPC by Mr Ashok Jain and Mr Pankaj Saran, Co-convenor of EMPI-Indian Express Indian Innovation Awards, 2006, yesterday.
