Secretariat Employees Union calls on Chief Minister

Jammu, Feb 15 (UNI) A deputation of Civil Secretariat Non-gazetted Employees union called on Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to apprise him of the problems of the state employees.

The deputation presented its demands to Chief Minister which include enhancement of retirement age from 58 to 60 years, grant of interim relief of Rs 2,000 to employees till formulation and finalisation of 6th Pay Commission report, and regularisation of ousted class IV employees of Excise and Commercial Taxes Departments.

After hearing their demands, Chief Minister fixed a meeting on February 21 to have detailed discussion with the representatives of the employees.

The Unions included employees Joint Action Committee Jammu, J&K Lower Grade Employees Union Civil Secretariat, Legeslative Assembly employees Union and various Departmental associations.
