Russell Peters to conduct chat shows in India

Bangalore, Feb 15 (UNI) Russell Peters, one of the world's finest stand up comedian, would entertain audience in Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi with his popular chat shows as part of 'Russell Peters Live' India Tour-2007.

The Gemini Award Nominee would perform in Bangalore on February 27, in Mumbai on March two and at Delhi on March seven.

Russell, known for his 'Network East Late' on BBC, started his career in 1989 and gained worldwide popularity in 2003 when US executives heard his sound clips and his acts, which started making rounds on the Internet.

His acts were based on immigrant communities around the world like Indian, Arab, Chinese, Fillipino, Korean, South and South East Asian communities.

Famous US based Comedian Rusty Dooley would perform the opening act. United Spirits would be the sponsors of the event, said a release issued by DNA network the event managers of the show here today.
