Prudential ICICI launches Prudential ICICI Fusion Fund Series

Chennai, Feb 15 (UNI) Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company (AMC) today announced the launch of Prudential ICICI Fusion Fund Series.

The NFO period for the Fund is February 15 to March 16, 2007, according to a press release here today.

Fusion II is a three-year close-ended diversified equity Fund, designed for the needs of the investors, who seek growth and can stay invested for a minimum time horizon of three years to perform.

The Fund targets to capture the growth and re-rating potential of small and mid cap companies over a three year plus period, by building a core portfolio of 30 to 40 promising companies.

"The fund is a strategic investment vehicle that seeks to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related instruments of companies across large, mid and small market capitalization. The fund also provides investors with a built-in insurance cover for three years, the release said.
