Pre-induction training of CRPF starts to replace BSF in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 15 (UNI) The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel replacing the Border Security Force (BSF) in North and South Kashmir are being given pre-induction training and proper lessons about Human Rights.

Ten more CRPF battalions have already arrived here from different states to replace the BSF and the process will be completed by March 31., a CRPF spokesman told UNI.

He said the process to induct the CRPF personnel into the valley has almost been completed.

All the companies of the ten battalions have already arrived here and proceeded towards the areas where they would be deployed, he said.

He said the first BSF company will be out on March 15 when CRPF will start replacing them.

The spokesman said the pre-induction training of CRPF personnel have already been started in their respective areas of deployment.

He said the training will continue till the second week of March.

They are being acdimitised, he said.

He further said they are also been given training on how to deal with the situation here since they had come from the areas where there was no such problem.
