One constable, two hotel employees arested in rape case

Jammu, Feb 15 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a police constable, who was on the run after allegedly raping a girl in a hotel room along with two hotel employees, at Mendhar town in Poonch district.

Police said constable Imtiyaz Ahmed was arrested last evening and he confessed that he brought his girlfriend to a hotel in Kirana Bazar area and raped her on Monday night.

The victim later came to the city police station and registered a complaint under Ranbir Panel Code (RPC) 376, sources said.

The two employees of hotel were arrested on Tuesday.

All the three accused were produced in a local court today, after which the court remanded them to police custody for interrogation.
