Life imprisonment to kidnapper

Bokaro, Feb 15 (UNI) A local court today sentenced life imprisonment to a person for kidnapping an infant three years back from this district of Jharkhand.

According to prosecution one P P Rao had kidnapped an infant from Bhojudih area of the district in December 2003.

Police then arrested the kidnapper but failed to recover the child from him.

Local people believed that infant was killed by the abductor but police treated the child as missing.

Fast track court Judge S Choudhary sentenced life imprisonment to the abductor with the fine of Rs 5000.
