Kolkata experiences the second coming of winter
Kolkata, Feb 15 (UNI) The mercury took a dip to 15.5 degree Celsius today just when people were packing off their warm clothes.
A near chilly breeze throughout the day lent a feel of prolonged winter.
MET sources said the city would experience a minimun temperature of around 15 degree Celsius for the next couple of days. The sources attributed this sudden cold weather to the rains brought on by the western disturbance earlier this week.
However, the maximum temperature today rose a few notches to 25.6 degree Celsius against yesterday's 20.6 degrees.
Humidity in the air remained high throughout the day. The early morning rainfall of about 0.1 mm was recorded in some parts of the city, sources added.
