James Bond bewitched by wonderful Taj Mahal

Agra, Feb 15: He came, he saw and was conquered! On the first glimpse of Taj Mahal, James Bond, Sean Connery, could only say, ''It's marvellous...what a symbol of love...'' Flanked by his wife and former Hollywood actress Micheline Roquebrune, the 77-year-old Scottish actor visited the world famous monument of love.

The Connery couple was part of a 39 member group, that visited the Taj Mahal yesterday on Valentine's Day.

''I shall never forget this day, when I spent Valentine's Day in the company of my wife in the forecourt of Taj Mahal...,'' Connery said later interacting with newspersons.

He also satisfied his queries on the history of the Taj by asking about it from local tourist guides.

The group spent quite some time in the precincts of Taj Mahal.
