International Coffee festival to begin on Feb 23

Bangalore, Feb 15 (UNI) The three-day International Coffee Festival, beginning here on February 23, will showcase Indian coffee and the potential for growth in the domestic market.

Briefing newspersons here, Coffee Board Chairman G V Krishna Rau said about 100 participants from over 15 countries were expected to attend the festival, featuring exhibitions, conferences and workshops. The international coffee community had started recognising the potential of Indian coffee market and the festival was the only platform of this magnitude available to them to network and develop business opportunities in the Indian coffee market.

He said it would also bring together scientists and the opinion makers face to face with the Indian coffee industry to share the latest developments and address all critical issues from farms to markets.
