Indian starts non-stop Delhi-Kochi-Delhi flight
New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) Air travellers in the country will now have a direct non-stop connection between Delhi and Kochi.
From February 18, Indian will offer a second flight between Delhi and Kochi. The new flight will be a non-stop flight in both directions, reducing the flight time from five hours to three hours.
The flight will use Airbus A319 aircraft and operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Delhi and Kochi. It will depart Delhi at 1630 hrs and reach Kochi at 1940 hrs. The return flight from Kochi will leave at 2020 hrs, arriving Delhi at 2330 hrs.
This will be in addition to the existing daily morning flight via Mumbai. An introductory one-way fare of Rs 3,000 (taxes and levies extra) is being offered besides other schemes like Unchecked Fares and Spot Fares which are already available.
Indian operates over 300 flights every day to connect a large network of 54 domestic and 18 international destinations with a fleet of 74 aircraft.
