Four thieves arrested in temple town

Tirupati, Feb 15 (UNI) The city crime branch police arrested four burglars and recovered oranaments and other assessories worth Rs four lakh from them today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajaiah, told newspersons here that while Raghuveera, Chotu Kumar and JP, hailed from Madhya Pradesh, Heri Philips was from Chennai. They were involved in several cases of house-breaking in the temple town.

The seized items included a laptop, gold and silver ornaments, he said adding the accused were sent for remand after producing them before a magistrate's court.
