Four bears recovered from Howrah

Howrah, Feb 15 (UNI) The Forest Department officials today recovered altogether four bears from Tikiapara in Howrah.

Police conducted a raid in the adjoining areas following a tip-off and recovered the bears.

Forest officer Pradip Dutta said the bears were brought from the neighbouring Jharkhand.

The animals have now been shifted to Salt Lake's Wild Animal Recovery centre Mr Dutta said adding no one was arrested in this connection.
