Congress members continue dharna in Assembly
Bangalore, Feb 15 (UNI) Congress members in the Karnataka Assembly today continued their dharna for the third consecutive day, demanding the government to state its stand on the election to the post of Chairman in the Legislature Council, resulting in the adjournment of the house.
As soon as the House assembled, Congress members led by Leader of the Opposition M Dharm Singh trooped into the well of the House even as Deputy Speaker, N Y Gopalakrishna commenced the question hour and called Kannada Chaluvali leader Vatal Nagaraj to ask his question.
Even as Congress members continued to raise slogans against the government, the Deputy Speaker abruptly adjourned the House for half-an-hour.
