CLP terms opposition attitude 'undemocratic'
Hyderabad, Feb 15 (UNI) The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) today alleged the opposition was trying to stall the proceedings of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly despite Speaker K R Suresh Reddy's appeal to allow the house to discuss various matters, including the government's reply on the Governor's address.
Talking to newspersons outside the Assembly, Government Chief whip N Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged the opposition's attitude was undemocratic and termed it ''political drama''.
He said discussions on the Governor's address were very important and the opposition had stalled the proceedings of the House when the Chief Minister was giving his reply today.
Mr Reddy said there was no meaning in the opposition's agitation after the Home Minister's assurance to conduct an enquiry on the alleged humiliation of CPI-M MLA S Rajaiah by police personnel.
