AP: CBI unearths property from IT official's home
Hyderabad, Feb 15: The CBI has unearthed documents of properties worth crores of rupees from the residences of Income Tax Commissioner (Appeals) K Hari Prasad, who is currently posted in Kolkata.
CBI sources today said simultaneous raids were conducted yesterday at his residences located in Hyderabad, Kolkata and Chennai.
Several documents relating to shares, properties and gold were recovered, the sources said.
Hari Prasad had worked in Hyderabad in the same capacity earlier.
The CBI had registered a case against him under various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act, the sources said.
