Bureau Veritas opens office in Aurangabad

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Feb 15: Bureau Veritas (BV)(India) Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bureau Veritas SA, France, the leading certification and classification body, today opened a full- fledged office here.

Addressing a news conference after inaugurating the new office, BV India CEO Dr Ryszard Kaszsuba said the company, which has a client base of 58 in Aurangabad, felt it necessary to set up a branch to cater to the need of the upcoming industrial units.

Among the 58 included the leading auto giant Bajaj Auto and Garware -- the two main industries here.

According to him, the company expects to tap about one hundred more units in a year's time.

The BV had its presence in the city through a representative since 1995 and now will have a full-fledged bureau working more closely with the industries, Mr Kaszsuba said.

The company indulged in providing value added services to their clients' assets, processes, products and personnel, to win the confidence of their customers and enhance BV's own brand credibility.

Mr Kaszsuba said the certification helps the industries to be more competitive and qualitative internationally.

The company has its presence in other cities sucha as Pune and Nashik, besides its headquarters in Mumbai. It plans to open its next office at Kolhapur, followed by Satara, he added.
