BMS to organise 'Chalo Parliament' on March 14
Tirupati, Feb 15: The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) will organise an agitation 'Chalo Parliament' on March 14, to press the government to consider the long pending demands of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers.
BMS National Vice-President R V Subba Rao said here the Centre had failed to respond to the problems faced by the Anganwadi workers.
Though various state-level committees set up by the Centre recommended a hike in salaries of the Anganwadi Workers and Helpers, no action had been initiated so far to look into it.
The union would organise massive agitations, if the Centre neglected the demands of Anganwadi workers, he added.
