BJP lashes out at the UPA for price hike
Shimla, Feb 15 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party vice president and former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shanta Kumar today lashed out at the UPA government at the Centre for the escalation of prices of food items throughout the nation.
Addressing mediapersons at the hill resort of Nahan today, the BJP deputy chief blamed the UPA for doing nothing to combat price rise of wheat, sugar, onion and vegetables. The price hike was due to wrong policies of the UPA, he said.
He said that inflation had broken the ''backbone of people especially poor'' and the UPA government had failed on all fronts including terrorism and corruption in the country.
