'Best DSC Platoon 2006' Award for 897 DSC

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 15 (UNI) The 897 Defence Security Corps (DSC) platoon attached to the Heavy Alloy Penetrator Project (HAPP) here, has been adjudged as the 'Best DSC Platoon for 2006' among all the DSC platoons in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.

In an official release, HAPP Security Officer Colonel J J Kattady said the area commander's rolling trophy would be presented to the Platoon at a function scheduled on February 27 by the area commander.
