APCC chief, ministers violated poll code: TDP

Rajahmundry, Feb 15 (UNI) The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has lodged a complaint with the Election Officer against Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president K Kesav Rao and state ministers for allegedly violating the election code of conduct.

The party, in a complaint lodged with the Election Observer General and Endowment Commissioner E Sundarkumar, said more than 100 vehicles had accompanied the convoy of the PCC chief and the ministers during the electioneering for the Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation polls.

The TDP also alleged that the ministers were using official vehicles and guest houses for poll campaign, violating the code of conduct.
