Air Arabia to fly in India from April

Dubai, Feb 15: Sharjah's budget airline Air Arabia will start daily flights to Ahmedabad from April 3.

Fares will start from Dh299 for flights to Ahmedabad exclusive of taxes and surcharges, and similar fares will be available for return trips, a statement said.

Air Arabia will fly to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International airport departing from Sharjah at 2355 hours and arriving in Ahmedabad at 0400 hours, then departing from Ahmedabad at 0445 hours to arrive in Sharjah at 0600 hours.

Air Arabia Chairman Shaikh Abdullah Bin Mohammad Al Thani said: ''This is a momentous occasion that further enhances our commitment to this market by introducing our seventh destination in India.'' Ahmedabad will raise Air Arabia's network to 33 destinations in just three years of operations.
