Woman committs suicide by jumping in front of train

Jammu, Feb 14 (UNI) A woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Koota in Kathua district, police sources said.

Police spokesman said 45-year old Sudesh Kumari, wife of Rashpal Singh of village Saroora in Hiranagar Tehsil ended her life by jumping in front of Jhelum Express at Koota last evening.

After receiving information about the incident, a team of crime and Railway Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here.
