UBI announces Royal Term Deposit with interest

Kolkata, Feb 14: United Bank Of India(UBI) today launched the United Royal Term Deposit offering an attractive interest of 9.15 per cent per annum for three years with annualised yield of 10.39 per cent.

UBI sources here said the salient features of the new scheme are Rs 25,000 as minimum deposit,0.50 per cent higher interest for Senior Citizen,availability of nomination facility, no lock-in period,free accident insurance up to Rs 1.25 lakh,zero balance savings bank account and free ATM and Credit Cards.

The scheme is valid up to April 30, the sources added.
