Passport office to conduct ECNR camp on Feb 17

Chennai, Feb 14 (UNI) Regional passport office here has planned to hold a special Emmigration Check Not Required (ECNR) and miscellaneous service camp on February 17.

In an official release today, Regional Passport Officer Sumathi Ravichandran said the one-day service camp was due to large number of applications received for grant of ECNR status after the relaxation of eligibility criteria to persons having the educational qualification of 10th standard pass.

A number of applications for other miscellaneous services like issue of PCC and inclusion of spouse name were also received, the release added.
