Inquiry into recovery of expired medicine ordered

Ranchi, Feb 14 (UNI) Jharkhand government today ordered an inquiry into the recovery of expired medicines, worth Rs five lakhs, from the sadar hopital of Giridih district.

State Health Minister Bhanu Pratap Shahi said the joint secretary of the department had been asked to file the inquiry report as soon as possible.

Mr Shahi, who was inducted into the Madhu Koda government last week, had asserted that he would not make any compromise with issues related to health.
