Four die, 15 injure as truck over turns

Koraput, Feb 14 (UNI) Four people were killed and 15 others injured, five of them critically, when a truck carrying people overturned near Bareli, about 80 kms from here today.

Police said the people, mostly tribals, were travelling in a mini truck from Bareli to Bandhgaon to celebrate the victory of a ward member when the mishap occurred.

The driver while negotiating a curve lost control of the wheels and the truck overturned killing four people on the spot. All the 15 injured in the accident rushed to the Rayagada Hospital where the condition of five was stated to be critical, police said.
