Ex-gratia relief for militancy victims of north Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 14: Jammu and Kashmir Government has sanctioned ex-gratia relief of Rs 21.35 lakh in favour of next of kin of those killed in 25 militancy-related incidents in north Kashmir district of Baramulla, an official spokesman said.

He said the District Level Screening Committee, (DLSC), sanctioned Rs 18 lakh in favour of next of kin of 18 persons killed by militants and Rs 2.35 lakh for five property damage cases and Rs one lakh for two injured persons.
