Workshop on making Indian Filter Coffee to be held as part of IICF

Bangalore, Feb 13 (UNI) A special workshop on preparing Indian Filter Coffee would be held as part of the three-day India International Coffee Festival, which begins here on February 23.

The workshop would emphasise on the art and science of Indian Filter Coffee preparation. Tips on brewing and equipment available for preparing filter coffee would be profiled.

IICF member and Coordinator Anil Bhandari said in a release here today that the objective of the workshop was to bring forward the fine art of making filter coffee. Experts from the Coffee Board would share the technique and processes to help make filter coffee as a passion.

''The frothy, aromatic, sweetish Indian filter coffee symbolises the coffee culture of India, especially in the Southern parts of the country,'' he said.
