Unseasonal rains lash many parts of Saurashtra region

Rajkot, Feb 13 (UNI) Unseasonal rains, accompanied by high velocity winds, lashed many parts of Saurashtra region last night.

Parts of Porbandar, Jamjodhpur, Gondal, and Amreli experienced rains accompanied by high velocity winds, official sources said.

Agriculture experts opined that the unseasonal rains would cause damage to the wheat and jira crops.

The rains were caused due to western distrbances, the sources added.
