A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice A P Shah and Mr Justice K Chandru dismissed the petition as not maintainable in view of the clarifications given by Mr Veerasamy that his speech delivered during a marriage last week never intended to denigrade the judiciary or to be intimidatory.

The petition was filed by ''Traffic'' Ramasamy seeking to show cause under what capacity Mr Veerasamy and Mr Karunanidhi holding their posts and to remove them for allegedly castigating the judiciary.
