Fed Cup national cross country championship in K'taka

Bangalore, Feb 13 (UNI) The eleventh edition of the Federation Cup National Cross Country Championship will be held in Ramanagaram in Bangalore Rural district on February 24 and 25.

Around 400 athletes would vie for top honours in the event, which would also be the selection trials to pick the Indian team for the coming Asian Cross Country Championship-2007, to be held in Amman, Jordan, on March nine and World Cross Country Championship to be held at Mombasa in Kenya later this year, a Karnataka Athletic Association release here said today.
