BSNL to launch new schemes in Aurangabad circle from Feb 16
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Feb 13 (UNI) The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will offer a new scheme - 'yakin Nahi Aata' (YNA) - to its customers here from February 16.
Under the new scheme subscribers can make unlimited free outgoing calls to landline and Wireless in Local Loop (WLL) telephones in the tehsil range and also to BSNL mobiles in Maharashtra Goa circle, BSNL General Manager (Aurangabad district) told mediapersons here today.
He said the scheme is being offered only on charges of Rs 279 per month on BSNLs land line telephone. The existing subscribers of One India plan of Rs 180 also can become members of the new plan by depositing an additional Rs 99 to avail of the new plan.
The scheme is limited to individual telephone subscribers and has not been extended to PCOs, he said.
The company also announced another scheme for its existing post-paid customers in Rs 325 and Rs 525 per month scheme. Under the scheme, users will be get one free SIM card and calls between the existing mobile and the new number would be absolutely free. No activation charges would be levied on the second SIM card and no monthly rent will be charged, Mr Rajsekhar said.
Both the schemes would be launched from February 16 in the district, he said.
BSNL has a total subscriber base of 1.3 lakh in Aurangabad district and the State-run telecom operator has installed about 97 mobile towers in the district comprising of 57 such towers in the Aurangabad city alone and remaining 40 in the rural parts here.
