Bollywood films can inspire use of simple Hindi: Gavit

Jaipur, Feb 13 (UNI) Urging all Government offices to simplify their official mode of communication, Union Home Minister for State Manik Rao H Gavit today said Bollywood films can be an inspiration as they use simplest Hindi.

Speaking at the Official Language Conference and Award Distribution function (Western and Central Region) here, Mr Gavit said Hindi must not only be spoken but written as well to popularise its use.

He urged all Government offices to use Hindi in their official communications and otherwise also to honour it as the national language.

Mr Gavit also emphasised the need to use Hindi in the information and technical field to expand its use.

He gave away awards to different offices for their contribution to developing Hindi as a national language.
