Mumbai, Feb 12 (UNI) The prosecution today submitted to the court a list of 58 witnesses, other documents, and revolver in connection with the murder of former BJP general secretary Pramod Mahajan.

Pravin Mahajan, the younger brother of Pramod Mahajan, has been accused of the murder. He had allegedly shot his elder brother at the latter's residence at Worli on April 22 last year. After a long battle for his life, Pramod Mahajan had succumbed to his injuries on May 3, while undergoing treatment at the P D Hinduja Hospital.

After receiving the articles and the documents today, additional sessions judge Srihari P Daware adjourned the matter till February 23 when the date for trial proceedings would be decided.

Immediately after the chargesheet was filed against him on July 14 last year, Pravin had moved for bail which was rejected on the ground that there was prima facie evidence against him.
