Nip in the air, Rajasthan still cold
Jaipur, Feb 12 (UNI) The sun is out and the cloud cover has receded but there is a nip in the air in Rajasthan.
According to the weather office, western parts of the state will receive rain while the southern part will remain dry.
The minimum temperatures have not risen much ranging between 10 to 17 degrees Celsius. Churu, Udaipur, Bhilwara and Jhalawar recorded 10 degrees Celsius while Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Ganganagar, Bikaner 11 degrees Celsius.
The state capital was cold at 12 degrees Celsius along with Ajmer, Bikaner and Barmer.
Dholpur recorded 14 degree Celsius and also 5 mm rains in the last 24 hours. Bundi was also 14 while Kota and Bharatpur was 15 degrees Celsius. Rawatbhata mapped 17 degrees Celsius.
At least 80 houses have collapsed during the storm, rain and hailstorm on late Saturday night which hit Tonk, Sawai Madhopur and Ajmer districts.
Crops like jeera, methi, mustard and peas in Bikaner district have been damaged due to unseasonal rains.
