Law students stage demo to condemn Minister's remark

Tiruchirapalli, Feb 12 (UNI) A section of Government Law College students staged a demonstration in front of the college campus here today to condemn Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister Arcot N Veerasamy's reported remarks against the judiciary.

They urged the Minister to desist from commenting on the judiciary and the judges.

The Minister had allegedly criticised Madras High Court strictures on civic polls and probe panel on the Omalur school incident, evoking strong protests from the High Court advocates.
