Italian textile delegation to enter into JVs with Indian companies

Kolkata, Feb 12 (UNI) Italian Textile delegation is planning to enter into joint ventures with Indian companies to export garments in this country.

Talking to UNI, Italian Textile Federation Director General Gianfranco di Natale here today said, ''India is the 52nd country to import textile items at 46 million Euro. We will tie up with other Indian companies to boost bilateral trade between the two countries.'' ''Italian textile and fashion designing industry is one of the leading industry of our country. The turnover of the industry is 52,860 billion Euro and the total number of the companies are 60,665,'' he said.

He said the delegation in its two-day visit to the city would meet various Indian companies and work out join venture projects with them.
