Dacoits loot businessman in posh area of Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Feb 12 (UNI) Three persons were injured, when eight men looted a city businessman of Rs 25,000 in cash, gold ornaments and diamond worth Rs 10 lakhs, four credit cards belonging to different banks, a mobile and a Santro car, in the posh Mithalkali area of the city.

The robbers forcefully entered the bunglow of Pradeepbhai Deepakbhai Shah, the owner of 'Deepkala Sarees', at around 2300 hours last night. The robbers had pushed the three family members and the servant into a room and locked them, police today said.

The complaint filed by Pradipbhai's wife Preetiben said that three people including her husband and her son were injured in the attack, police added.
