Polio drops administered to children in Jharkhand
Ranchi, Feb 11(UNI) Polio drops were administered to more than 30 lakh children aged between 0-5 years in Jharkhand as a part of the second phase of "pulse polio immunisation campaign" here today.
According to health department sources, nearly 20,000 camps manned by paramedical staffs, department employees and member of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) were involved in the task.
The polio drops were also administered at the bus terminals, railway stations, airports and other public places.
In Ranchi, the state government had targeted to administer polio vaccine to about 5 lakh children, sources added.
