Give equal respect to all religions: Ram Madhav

Bhopal, Feb 11 (UNI) RSS former spokesperson Ram Madhav today stressed upon the need for giving equal respect to all religions and communities in order to attain permanent peace in the country.

Mr Madhav, while addressing 'Samrasta Sammelan' organised on the occasion of birth centenary of Madhav Sadashivrao Golwarkar, said it was necessary that both the society and the government come together in this regard.

Pointing out that achieving equanimity was a big challenge, he said despite the fact that there were so many religions and communities in the country, their message was unity and harmony.

Under such circumstances, every one must make effort to provide equal respect to each other.

He said programmes such as 'Samrasta Sammelan' did not create tension.

The RSS leader said the reason behind several ills of society was insensitivity of the government and the administration. They should analyse and resolve people's problems, he added.
