BJP condemns Cong's violence against its workers in Uttarakhand
New Delhi, Feb 11 (UNI) The BJP today condemned the violence unleashed by the Congress against its party workers in Uttarakhand, resulting in daylight murder of BJP worker of a village Rajender Singh Bhauryal in Bageshwar district.
The BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said the Congress was indulging in such desperate measures like resorting to killing the opposition party workers in a desperate measure to save itself in power and to terrorise peace-loving voters of Uttarakhand.
''We strongly condemn the police inaction and urge the Election Commission to take such violence seriously.'' Mr Javadekar said the BJP would avenge such attacks through decisive victory in ballot.
BJP senior worker Rajendra Singh's clobbered body was recovered from a field yesterday. He was reportedly out for the election campaign at Rawat Shera Devtoli area on Friday night.
