6.75 lakh children given polio drops in AP

Hyderabad, Feb 11 (UNI) Nearly 6.75 lakh children in Andhra Pradesh were administered polio drops today.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy while administering the polio drops to the children appealed to the public to bring their children to the polio booths set up in each area.

State Health Minister K Rosaiah said the government machinery had geared up to cover all the children in this round.

He said in total 3,200 polio booths were set up in various areas of the twin cities to adminster the vaccine.
