30 feared dead as bus falls in Ganga canal

Bulandshahr, Feb 11 (UNI) At least 30 passengers were feared drowned when a Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus crashed through the barrier and fell in the Ganga Canal here this afternoon.

According to reports, about 45 people were travelling aboard the bus when the accident happened in Rajghat area at 1530 hrs.

Some of the passengers, however, swam to safety.

The accident site is 50 km from the district headquarters.
