Two CPI-ML members arrested

Rajahmundry, Feb 10 (UNI) Police have arrested two members of the Communist Party of India-Marxist Leninist (CPI-ML) and recovered one pistol and ammunitions from them.

On a tip off, Batchala Lakshmaiah alias Ramesh, CPI-ML New Democracy Dal Commander and Jalluri Suresh, its Peddapuram division secreatry were arrested at Barangi village in Rampachodavaram last night, East Godavari district Superintendent of Police Srinivasulu said here today.

Lakshmaiah was involved in four incidents of exchange of fire with the police, Mr Srinivasulu added.
