Andhra Pradesh: Situation under control in Chittoor
Chittoor (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 10: Tension prevailed earlier due to the firing on a former MLA C K Babu by some unidentified men, in which three people, including the gunman of the MLA, a municipal employee and an assailant were killed, was normal, the District Superintendent of Police, Charu Sinha said here today.
Talking to UNI, she said the situation was brought under control. Some weapons, bullets and a four-wheeler vehicle were recovered in the city, alleged to have been used in the violence, she added.
Ms Sinha said an assailant, who was killed in exchange of fire was yet to be identified. Efforts were on to nab the other assailants, she added.
