Punjab Mail stopped midway after bomb scare
Bhopal, Feb 10 (UNI) Following information about a bomb being planted in the Firozepur-Mumbai 2138 UP Punjab Mail this evening, the train was being searched after it was stopped near Barkheda, 40 km from here.
According to railway sources, Bhopal police had received information about a bomb in the Punjab Mail.
Bomb squads from Bhopal and Hoshangabad along with the officials and personnel of the Railway Police Force have reached Barkheda for the search of the train.
Sources said senior railway officials also reached the site.
A thorough search of the train was being carried out.
After leaving Bhopal, the train was to reach Hoshangabad at 1830 hrs.
