Megh police nabs two with Rs. 63,500 fake notes

Shillong, Feb 10: Meghalaya police yesterday arrested two persons including a woman for circulating of fake currency notes in the state.

Police said fake currency of Rs 500 note denomination amounting to Rs 63, 500 was recovered from the accused.

The duo were arrested from Mawlai Nongkwar.

Meanwhile, police have started interrogating the duo.
