HP CEO appointed Ferozpur, Faridkot spl poll observer

Moga, Feb 10 (UNI) The Election Commission (EC) today appointed Munisha Nanda, IAS, Chief Electoral Officer-cum-Secretary Election, Himachal Pradesh, as special observer for Ferozpur and Faridkot revenue divisions comprising of Moga, Ferozpur, Muktsar, Faridkot, Bathinda and Mansa districts.

Mr S K Sharma, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Moga, said here today that Ms Nanda, who will be reaching here by evening, will visit the constituencies and specially sensitive and super-sensetive polling booths.

The EC has also appointed another senior IAS officer Ms Anuradha Gupta as special observer for Patiala and Jalandhar revenue divisions.
