Four killed in a road accident near Belgaum

Belgaum, Feb 10 (UNI) Four people were killed on the spot and one was seriously injured when a Jeep, in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a truck near Halagi village on the outskirts of the city today.

Police sources said that the Jeep was bound for Hubli from Belgaum when the accident occurred.

The police had a tough time in removing the bodies as the vehicle was completely damaged.

The driver, who sustained serioius injuries, was admitted to District General Hospital. The deceased were yet to be identified.
